Carla, Sarkozy flee Israeli runway
Back(Daily News on http://www.parsnewz.com/blog ) A visit by the French President and his new wife to the Middle East has been disrupted by a shooting at an airport in Tel Aviv. Police say an Israeli soldier on the perimetre of the farewell ceremony had apparently shot himself. The incident did not endanger the visiting President and bodyguards quickly hustled Nicolas Sarkozy and his wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy into their airplane at Ben-Gurion Airport. Sonia Legg reports.
