The '33 Philco 89 in operation

Back

A video about my classic 1933 Philco model 89. I just finished restoring it to the best of my abilities. I refinished the cabinet and was very pleased with the results, I also restored it electronically, and as you can hear, it now works! I can only pick up one station though, it picked up more before I replaced the volume control, maybe it is to blame? I'm not sure. I wasn't sure if the origional value of the Vol. control, so I got a 10 K potentiometer. If anyone knows what one I should get, or has any suggestions as to why I'm only getting one station now, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! :)
