Council of Europe puts focus on Serbian cultural heritage Belgrade has launched the 'European Heritage Days 2007', an annual celebration of culture in the 47 countries of the Council of Europe. It gives Serbia the chance to show its rich cultural diversity to the rest of the world, and also to examine its own cultural identity after a fractured recent past.
