Hmmm lol at me :p I Bad readed and i mixed some of the words i saw to what i beleived was a time made with a gamepad :p.
Anyway with the wheel sensitvity around 15% (it depends of the cars) it is possible to take nice curves with keys. ok Cheers!

I'm not sure if I got your meaning right, but I used Logitech G25 when I drove this lap.

Nice time with a gamepad... I can do decent times in rFactor and gtr2 with my keyboard too (when i'm at school, shuuut xD). So yeah playing simulators without a wheel isn't impossible (except for fast cars like F1s :p)
and this is a great example.

Nice driving including racing lines and throttle manipulation through the corners, this a beautiful lap.

Car simulators usually require proper wheel so you could play them correctly. Anyway, I think that 1.39.7 is a good time with gamepad :)

Race07 is one hell of a game but to get a good time you need a steering wheel.
I have only a MadCatz gamepad and I know Brands hatch and car setups quite well but can only manage 01:39,742 on a hot track will no assists.
Graag (September 13th, 2007 @ 8:24 pm)
Yes. I allways have all assistances off.
chrisbjr: I don't know how experienced you are with car sims, but if you are some level of beginner, then that six second difference is quite normal. When i first started to race against better drivers than what you usually see on public servers, I was about six to eight seconds slower than more experinced drivers.

I do 1:37.552 with standard set-up but with changed gearing, braking balance and without any driving aids. Just practice, especially that fast part of the track.
chrisbjr (September 13th, 2007 @ 4:48 am)
did you have all the driving assistance off? like traction control and abs? best i could manage was 1:44 after 30min of practice. cant practice anymore for the day coz im busy.

my brother told me after posting this that it was Virtual Grand Prix, hehe :D
But the difference I see is in the little changes in the track, and the sound is very different :)
Hope to see you online with Race07 :)
Graag (September 7th, 2007 @ 8:31 pm)
Well, you are partly right in that. This video is not actually recorded from race07 demo, but from a beta demo made for the Swedish Virtual Grand Prix. I'm interested to know, how you saw the difference? Because from brief test I gave to both demos, I saw or felt no difference at all between them.
