The song is about a teenage romp I'm assuming where the girl ends up pregnant and has an abortion. 'Yeah we're gonna let it, slide Don't you love the life you killed The priest is on the phone Your father hit the wall Your ma disowned you' The 'Slide' part means just let it happen without much regard to the outcome?
