I hope and pray this man is not too old to be *papabile* at the next conclave. He would be (the Holy Spirit willing) an excellent pastor of the Lord's flock.

There is no need for insults against me. I am telling you only what is in the Catechism. You are not allowed to judge whether or not a person is going to hell. That is God's judgement alone. That is not to say we cannot judge them, but that we cannot say they are 'damned' essentially. Again, no need to insult as my comment was not intended as an insult.

Well, you go ahead and bake them an apple pie and have them over for dinner....I on the other hand will call for accountability and call a demon a demon by his deeds and heart and his active role in seeing others don't enter heaven's gate by his hand! Discernment is a true virtue. You just rather stick your head in their dirty sand ... they could care less about you, because you would never judge them. Your silence is a sin.

Santa Cruz. I agree that it may seem like politians are very far gone. But what you have said is judging the thing that we are not allowed to judge. Essentially what you have said is that they are already going to hell. We cannot say that.

Any procurement of a completed abortion incurs latae sententiae, or automatic excommunication. In other words, if a Catholic politician approves abortion they already are excommunicated. Once again, that was never the subject of our debate because I never disagreed with the Church's decision on this matter.

Surgical abortion is a current legal right to choose that action. Legal or illegal it is a choice. Many countries allow legal murder of their daughter if she is a victim of rape. The "free will" core corruption in surgical abortion debate is the Politicians covering up the atrocity by legalizing it. Catholic politicians must be ex-communicated. I doubt they would care less. Just ask Kennedy, Poleski, Sam Farr, Kansas Gov., etc, etc. They really could care less...so we should for them!!!!
MegsterBerry (June 26th, 2008 @ 4:34 am)
The term "free will" and its result "choice" is anything but fluffy. It is simply the gift and burden God gave men. I believe this debate is best left where it is. May God bless your prolife ventures as you defend human rights.

MegsterBerry, what is YOUR argument? Where the Nazi subhuman? Yes! Our lives and existence is of the spiritual, even supernatural, realm. Karma and aura travel in subhuman manifestations of heinous horrors. Coverup and "fluffy" words, like free will "choice" are the light of darkness.
MegsterBerry (June 25th, 2008 @ 5:41 pm)
I don't think we need to define the connection between choice and free will in this forum, but yes that's true. But, once again I am unsure of what your argument is. "Subhuman" is first defined as less than human. Evil makes you depraved certainly, but not of a lower order of being than human. Second, animals do not naturally kill their young. The instinct to propagate the species is strong even in animals. For example the mother pelican will pierce its own breast to feed its young if necessary.
