Yeah - but then agaain it's only baseball isn't it? Not exactly a well known or even moderately important sport to the rest of the world.. We have something similar called  rounders, but we only play it until we grow up.. lol

BB4lyfe- i have utmost respect from WoodB's military service but somewhere along the line he went john kerry on us i take it you too feel the umpire made the correct decision by waving off the pitch? well i didnt see the batter raise his hand in the batters box did you? wrong call all the way as for you please never call balls and strikes in a little league game or any level for that matter. you'd probably halt the game for a minor traffic accident on the other side of town coach freeman

Ok so do you just drop everything you're soing every time a plane crashes? Of course not, so why should they stop an important game for this little side attraction? This video should be accompanied by some light-hearted rag-time honky-tonk piano music. Do you not realize the Goldpanners were in a hotly contested pennant race at the time? Sure, let's break our concentration so we can gawk at this stupid pilot, in the meantime we lose to the Rattlers? Sheeesh I think NOT.

Mr.WoodB...I applaud you for being a stand up guy and I totally agree with you that individuals who think a game is more important than human life is a bit unbalanced. I also believe if this happened during any other game that even "professionals" would bring it to a halt. I mean Mr.employee of course a player doesn't go out to a parking lot accidnet, but come on, it was on the neighboring field! Also for you to call Mr.WoodB an anti-American is beyond belief! and you should honor and respect

How dare you insult the great American institution of baseball by suggesting that this noble game be interrupted by some dipshit who is practicing stunts over a ballfield. Its people like you who give baseball a bad rep. This idiot pilot was clearly not only in foul territory, the infield fly rule was in effect so there was absolutely no need to even cast a glance at this interruption. He was automatically ruled out--just like you---OUT.

mr woodsballer- of coarse the game should have come to a halt if the plane hit one of the player. good gosh, that would have been a disaster your missing my point sir. the plane didnt crash on the field of play but rather a totally separate field. no need to bring the game to a halt thank you very much. the ump blew it, the coaches blew it, and the players blew it from what im concerned the jury is still out on whether or not your anti-american if you cant wrap your head around this mix-up

I believe those players should be applauded for their efforts to help another human in distress. How can you possibly say I have a bad attitude? One final thought..Should they have continued to play if the plane killed one of the players!? Put that in your pipe and smoke it, sir.
