YEah alot of vietnamese kids did die. A good portion of them died from the vietnamese strapping bombs on them and using them for suicide bombers.

I am reading the book The Things They Carried in my English class and it is so interesting to me that that book is actually fiction. Tim O'Brien, the author, said that almost all of those stories are fake, except for a few. Whether they are fake or not, they are enlightening and VERY intense. It is the best book I have EVER read and everyone sould go out there are read it.
