It is true that the earth goes through warming stages before ice ages, but the ACCELERATION of the warming THIS TIME is what is worrying most scientists right now. Yes, it is a natural process, but do we need to perpetuate it?

omg yall, srsly. there is nothing WRONG with our planet. its just a bunch of tree huggers thinking that there is, when there's not. if you look at the records, earth goes through hot and cold stages. that doesnt mean that something is wrong with our planet. and besides, God does everything purposefully. so stop trying to prevent wants going to happen, yall. srsly.

This is scary. If people would just do simple things like conserve energy and recycle,etc. theres so much you can do to save our earth but most people DONT CARE AT ALL. and it's so sad. This earth is coming to an end because of all of this..

Not to nitpick but, the generally accepted age of the earth is 4.5 billion years. Life is thought to have started 3.8 billion years ago. But, I get your point, just pick lower numbers next time ;)

it's terrible....... us, the human race, are not actually destroying the planet. (it will rejuvinate itself 4 billion years or so after we've gone [which is not very long compared to the age of the earth]) We are simply destroying the environment that allows us to thrive.....
