yeah, it's definitely just another jonze joke. or maybe he was too overwhelmed by the day of filming. Directing is one hell of a job. Though, I'll stick safely to the thought of it being a joke, Spike is fucking awesome.

it was staged, he poked a zip-lock bag full of vomit-substitute that he hid in his shirt. Spike is fucking with your head as he is known to do.
