not really.....i was listening to rap befor eminem......and hip hop/rap is not the only thing listened to......rock/metal went down a little when "pop" came out now its stronger then ever

This song perfectly describes how music back before eminem was brittney spears nsync, and that kind of pop music. Where eminem started the rap revolution, and now the only thing listened to is practically hip/hop rap etc. People might not realize it, but Rap only became cool to white kids after eminem.
