Do you have pictures of the pickup? I have a CIJ 72 custom, and I'm pretty sure my neck pickup is a humbucker. I've taken it off and looked at it. How do you split a single coil in half anyway?

Hi! Did the 1Meg pots make a lot of difference? I'm gonna put 3x 500k in mine and I think leave one of the tones as a 250... Cheers!

I've read they are humbuckers, I have one, very nice, gonna change pots to 500k. Anyway,only the original and I think maybe the first Jap reissues were actually Fender wide range... its on wiki...

Almost correct, most Gibson's have a 24.75" scale neck, close enough though ;)

just so you people know, these aren't humbuckers. They are basically single coils split in half. I have one of these reissues, and its really nice. The neck is really comfortable once you get it setup. Sounds nice if you know how to play it well. Just gotta get used to the neck.
